6 Months

Monday night we celebrated  6 months of marriage!  I can not believe it has been this long, seems like just yesterday we were driving down to Vegas to tie the knot.

On our very first official date we went to the Sundance lift.  I had asked Logan to Sadies Junior year, and he didn't want our "first date" to be one I was technically taking him on.  So after a high school football game sometime in August, me and him headed up there for our very first date.  It has kinda been a tradition ever since.

Well now we have March 8th so sadly it is time to forgo the August anniversary.. :(
At least you get to celebrate a 6 monther during your first year of marriage right?

We played hookie from work half the day, and hung out at home, talked about life, and how maybe I want to go back to school.
Then we went out to Pizzeria 712 for dinner, and Logan gave me a Polar watch that I have been dying for.

Well school is back in session!
Logan survived his first week of working 35+ hours a week, and taking 18 credits..  No big deal.

I love that he loves what he does.  It's the funnest, watching him get excited when he makes a  program.  And it is extra fun now that he is applying for internships, and might finally start making money doing what he loves.

I envy him for finding what he loves.

I went to hair school, and I do like doing hair.
I like the beauty supply store discount, I like the extra cash, and I like keeping up with friends that I otherwise probably wouldn't, and I like making people pretty, but I don't LOVE it. And that's fine.  I'm still glad I can do it.

I don't LOVE my job either.  I mean it's great I work with my mom and one of my best friends.  We have weekends, and holidays off, great benefits, great boss, supper chill, but I wouldn't want to do it for the rest of my life. It just doesn't complete me, ya know?

I just wish I could find my passion too, so far no luck, but I am working on it.  I am going to find that thing that I am so good at, and so happy doing, that I will want to do it for the rest of my life.

So far Logan is that thing, I know that sounds cheesy but it's true. He completes me.

And this is what went on over Labor day weekend.

We had a fire at the lake, the boys let me tag along.

Bought a frisbee, and played with it every spare minute.

   Went disco skating

Last but not least had a surprise welcome home party for Sam who just got home from Russia.
