The New Place!
We are so excited to be settled in our new place! We really didn't look around too much, we instantly loved this place because of the location, and the fact that it's right across the street from Logan's new job.
It has a great puppy park that the dogs love, a gym, Wifi lounge, movie theatre, pool/hot tub, great club house, and we were able to get a nice big deck for the dogs.
I will admit I was hoping my next move would be into a house that we could be in for a long time. However, Logan likes to serious-joke that we are moving to Costa Rico, for a year or two before we are tied down to one place, and we had no idea he would find a "real" job as fast as he did so we are going to enjoy the apartment life for a few more years :)

The Thanksgiving and Christmas Post
Thanksgiving: For the past few years we have spent Thanksgiving in Park City. It works out great because both of our family's go up there.
This year we stayed at the Stein Eriksen Lodge with Logan's family and ate at my uncle Bret's house.
We enjoyed spa treatments, shopping, and lots of yummy food, but I must say I missed my babies I had to leave behind :(

Christmas:
This year me, my mom, and sisters succeeded in making my great grandma Vivian's divinity recipe. Old fashion candy is a Christmas tradition on my moms side of the family so it was fun to learn how to make fudge and divinity myself. I also whipped up these cute reindeer cookies using my Alison Cookie Party guides.
Christmas day: We are blesses to have TONS of family around, which means the holidays are very busy. We split it up this year and spent Christmas eve with my family and Christmas day with Logan's family. Larry spoiled all the boys with new suits, I got Nikes and a new rug for our new place. Logan got me a new camera! it's a Sony Alfa 5100 and I LOVE it! I got Logan a ultra wide monitor to help simplify his programming. My parents got Logan some climbing gear, and they got me a panini maker and hunter boots. We were also very lucky to get some christmas cash from out grandparents :) I totally dropped the ball on pictures this year but here are the few I did get.

Puppies, apartments, and margaritas
Koda is about 4 months old and I adore him. I hate sleeping with him because unlike Zu, he slowly scoots onto my pillow and I end up curled into a ball at the and of the bed. But how could I say no to this face?

Believe it or not I do drag myself out of that cozy bed once in a while, and when I do it's almost always with Mads and Sam, and involving food.
Also, I have good news. We are moving!!!!! Next month we will be living at the Aston and Logan will be starting his new job at Vantage, just right across the street! I am so excited to start this new chapter that I call "Not starving students". I will have a pantry, an oven, and I will have no in laws living up stairs. Life is good.

Halloween
Halloween was nothing too exciting this year. In fact I think on Halloween night I was having a Sex and the City marathon and Logan was playing X Box. At least we made an effort to put the dogs in outfits and take a few pictures. Right?
Also my good friend Sammy threw a murder mystery party this year! This was my first murder mystery party, and I hate to brag, but I was very good. Logan and I won the whole thing, and the only reason Logan was in on the winnings is because I couldn't keep my mouth shut!

Koda
We added a new addition to the family this week. Meet Koda. He is an 8 week old Miniature Goldendoodle puppy, and he is the sweetest thing you will ever meet.
I have been thinking lately that it would be so great if Zuzu had a little friend. She is so energetic, and requires so much attention that I thought another puppy would be the perfect thing to keep her entertained, rather then me playing fetch/tug-of-war 12 hours a day (don't get me wrong I do love playing with her, but she is a tad demanding). Zuzu has been such a great dog, and friend to us that I figured 2 dogs was the way to go.
I also went from a full time to a part time employee this past week so I decided this was the perfect time to train a new puppy.
There is a family in my parents ward that breeds these Mini Goldendoodles, and I have been cutting their hair for years. The last time I was over there cutting they said all there new puppies was going to new homes the next week, except the little boy who had not found a home yet. They brought him up for me to see him, and I fell in love with him instantly.
After a few hours of convincing Logan that we NEEDED another dog this little guy was ours!
These two have quickly become best friends and it makes me so happy. :)
Today Koda was crying in his sleep, like he was having a bad dream. Zuzu got up, walked across the coach and cuddled with him. Koda usually isn't a cuddler, but Zu LOVES to cuddle so she jumped at the chance.
A few more of Zu trying to sneak some snuggles in.

New Wedding Ring
My original wedding ring was a vintage Opal, and Safire ring that I loved! but lost the main stone out of it a few months ago, when I snagged it on a chair at work. I decided rather then buying a new Opal, I wanted a more traditional wedding ring. This is what we got! I am obsessed to say the least.

Well Logan started school this week and summer is officially coming to an end. It's always a sad thing knowing that the warm summer days are leaving, but now this is just another semester checked off the list so it's worth it. Especially since his summer classes were so time consuming!
Logan had one week off of school before Fall semester started, so we tried to make the most of it.
The Zip Lines at Sundance. Sooo fun and worth every penny.
And...we went swimming just about every day.
